Friday the 13th – Italy and France about to go home Von Joachim Herbert, 13.06.2008

Friday the 13th wasn´t a good day for the Italian and the French football team. The Italians confirmed my word from two days ago and were lucky. Romanias Mutu failed with his penalty against the Italian goalkeeper Buffon, who used his hand and foot to keep his team in the game.

The French got beaten 4:1 by the Netherlands and so my word from two days ago was confirmed as well. The Netherlands could become a problem for the rest of the teams. They simply are too strong.

One thing that´s for sure is, that either Italy or France has to go back home after their third game on Tuesday, June 17th. What a surprise! As lucky as the Italians are, they probably will stay in the tournament and the poor French have to pack their bags, cross the border and go back home. But no gloating, my Fellow-Germans! Austria is waiting and we have to get through a big challenge.

So what do you think? Which team has to go home? Italy or France? And what will Germany do on Monday? Beat the Austrians or pack their backs and come back home?
