Kick Off - Avantasia photos online Von Joachim Herbert, 06.06.2008Hi everybody!
As you can see this is my first blog entry –and it´s an important one. You may have realized that there´s not that much to see on towiu.com yet. There´s a reason for it, because I wanted to go online in a few weeks, when the sections “articles” and “photos” are filled with more content.
But as it´s often in life – things don´t work out the way you planned. The reason why I´m going online earlier is a pleasant one. I joined the metalband Avantasia at their rehearsals in Germany just before the kick off of their world tour. And I took the chance to take some pictures! You can enjoy them in the photo section.
Since The Scarecrow World Tour 2008 startet yesterday in Switzerland and the band is performing tomorrow at Sweden Rock Festival, I had to go online now. So all of you that can´t see them live on stage at least have the chance to enjoy some pictures of the band.
But if you are in the area, you should really go and see the show. The songs are amazing and Tobias Sammet will sing with Jorn Lande, Andre Matos and Bob Catley. If you don´t live in Huttwil (Switzerland) or Sölvesborg (Sweden), may be you can make it to Moscow, Tokyo, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Santiago or Sao Paulo?
Yes, I know. Most of you can´t, but don´t worry. There will be some festivals in Europe in July and August. Serbia, Czech Republic, Spain, Italy, Germany (Wacken) and Hungary will the places to be!
It´s worth the way and if you went to a concert, please let me know. Leave a comment below and tell me how you liked the show!

I will take pictures at Wacken Open Air in Germany only. Unfortunately we all have to wait for 6 more weeks..
